Zero Carb Hibiscus Berry Detox Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 8 cups (2 liters) water
  • 4 hibiscus tea bags (or ¼ cup dried hibiscus flowers)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, or blueberries)
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional:
    • Sweetener of choice (stevia, monk fruit, or honey)
    • Fresh mint leaves
    • 1 scoop unflavored collagen peptides

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the hibiscus tea bags. Steep for 10–15 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and allow the tea to cool.
  4. In a large pitcher, add berries, lemon slices, apple cider vinegar, and mint (if using).
  5. Pour in the cooled hibiscus tea and the remaining 4 cups of cold water.
  6. Stir in collagen peptides if desired.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors infuse.
  8. Serve over plenty of ice.

Tips

  • For a stronger berry flavor, lightly mash some of the berries before adding them.
  • Add sparkling water just before serving for a fizzy version.
  • Store refrigerated for up to 3 days.
