Ingredients
- 8 cups (2 liters) water
- 4 hibiscus tea bags (or ¼ cup dried hibiscus flowers)
- 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, or blueberries)
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- Ice cubes
- Optional:
- Sweetener of choice (stevia, monk fruit, or honey)
- Fresh mint leaves
- 1 scoop unflavored collagen peptides
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add the hibiscus tea bags. Steep for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove tea bags and allow the tea to cool.
- In a large pitcher, add berries, lemon slices, apple cider vinegar, and mint (if using).
- Pour in the cooled hibiscus tea and the remaining 4 cups of cold water.
- Stir in collagen peptides if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors infuse.
- Serve over plenty of ice.
Tips
- For a stronger berry flavor, lightly mash some of the berries before adding them.
- Add sparkling water just before serving for a fizzy version.
- Store refrigerated for up to 3 days.
